• Last day of the session provides an opportunity for the parents to come in and observe and congratulate their young athletes.

The school program is an unbelievable branch of Starr Gymnastics that brings the fun and excitement to you! It is designed for children looking to explore their interest and develop their skills in the sport of gymnastics, without ever having to leave their own school. All space, equipment and instructors are provided in the gymnasium…all you need is a smile.

AGE:	JK or SK to Grade 6
LENGTH OF CLASS:	40 to 60 minutes
TIMES:	Before School or Lunch Time or After School
SESSION LENGTH:	8 weeks
RATIO:	10 : 1
ATTIRE:	- Bare feet in Gym - Shorts or Track Pants - 'T' Shirt and / or Body Suit

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:

• Students will report to the school gymnasium at the designated time, where the expert Starr coaches are waiting along with top of the line Starr equipment.
• A special curriculum has been designed by Starr Gymnastics encompassing Vault, Tumbling and Mini Trampoline. The curriculum is great for all levels and ages of participants.
• During the program the children build their jumping, balancing, and rolling skills. Those athletes who show more advanced skill acquisition will be challenged to meet their fullest potential with higher level skills and more difficult activities.
• The last day of the session is Parent's Day, when Mom and Dad are invited to observe a typical class and take pride in the development their child has made over the course of the session.

GOAL OF THE PROGRAM:

1. To provide school aged children with the opportunity to develop their gymnastics skills in an environment that is close to home.
2. To increase interest in gymnastics and inspire children to try one of our many in-house programs.
