Seasonal Camps: Christmas Camp

Christmas time is often a very busy and exciting time for children. They are given a break from school and an open invitation to have fun, enjoy family and celebrate the season. During this time STARR GYMNASTICS Christmas camp gives the children an opportunity to get out of the house, learn new and exciting skills, interact with peers, all while having an awesome holiday experience.

Prices:

Full Day - 1 day $40.00
Half day - 1 day $25.00
Registration available by the day.

Times available:

Full Day 9:00 - 4:00
Half Day AM - 9:00 - 12:00
Half Day PM - 1:00-4:00

Ages:

Full Day ages 5 yrs and up
Half Day ages 3 and up

Pre Care available from 8:00 - 9:00 am for $5.00/day
Post Care available from 4:00 - 5:00 pm for $5.00/day

DESCRIPTION OF THE CAMP:

This camp focuses on gymnastics development and skill acquisition mixed in with cooperative games and other camp-type activities. Holiday Cheer, Winter Fun and Festive Activities are planned for each day.

• 70% of the day is spent covering all gymnastics apparatus.
• Other Activities include Snacks, Arts and Crafts, Quiet Games, Challenges and Theme Activities.
• An expert STARR coach leads athletes through progressive Circuits, allowing the athlete to learn the skills at their individual level and pace.
• Camp is a great place to make friends, strengthen the body and mind, and build memories that will last a lifetime.

A DAY AT CAMP FEATURES:

While at camp children will develop skills involving:

• Ropes and Rings
• Tumbling
• Fun Foam Pit
• Balance Beam
• Bars
• Vault
• Trampolines
• Tumble Trak

WHAT TO BRING?

• A Healthy lunch filled with high-energy foods and less sugary filled foods.

• Children will be reminded of individual items to bring depending on the lesson plan or the weather conditions at the time of camp.
